Animal Crosser Analysis

"Animal Crosser is the main character of the Animal Crossing series. Animal Crosser is normally peaceful, content with arranging his house, fishing, catching bugs, and chatting with neighbors. But, they have a very short temper if something or someone they like is taken from them." The Dojo has updated Animal Crossing Music and even made a stage about it. This shows that they are trying to include an Animal Crossing character into the game in some shape or form. The question is will he be playable? The decision is up to the Studio.
(This description was made by and given to this analysis by Tuppyluver1)

When fighting, they use an array of different items such as: butterfly nets, fishing rods, axes, slingshots, shovels, furniture, and umbrellas. They would come in many different outfits for costumes. If Sakrai decides to include this, he can make it so you can make your own costumes for him. Give him Mario's hat, Dk's tie, or Fox's eye piece the decision would be yours.

His variety of items led me to believe that he would be a pretty versatile fighter and would know how to get out of a bad situation. His small size also tells me that he would be light and speedy. He is also pretty short so he wouldn't be able to jump too high. The range of his attacks would depend upon the item he is wielding. (I will go more in depht about this when I get to his special moves) If he is not wielding anything he has short range and weak power but this can be remedied quite easily.

Here is a good moveset for Animal Crosser.

Animal Crosser (No items)

Smash Foreward: He Head butts straight foreward and does quite a bit of damage.

Smash Down: Takes out an axe and swings on the ground on both sides of him.

Smash Up: Takes out a shovel and jabs it straight into the air like Marth.

Strong Foreward: Jabs an umbrella foreward and blasts it opens it.

Strong Down: Shoots rocks with his sling shot at an angle toward the floor in front of him.

Strong Up: Fires three rocks stright in the air from his slingshot.

A button: Swings a butterfly net once

AA: Swings a butterfly net once then he swings it the opposite way

AAA: Swings the butterfly net once then he swings it the opposite way then he swings it over his head down.

Dash A: Slides foreward with a shovel sticking foreward.

Grab: Casts his fishing line foreward, hooks them, and reels them in. Can be used as a tether recovery.

Foreward throw: Reels back and casts them foreward.

Backward throw: Toss's them backward and throws a small piece of furniture after them.

Up throw: Toss's them straight up and slashes them with an axe.

Down throw: Slashes the enemy with an umbrella that opens when it hits them.

Neutral ariel: Swings his net foreward.

Foreward ariel: Swings a lamp foreward.

Backward ariel: A recliner appears and he sits and falls backwards on it.

Down ariel: Takes out a stool and stands on it as he falls.

Up ariel: Swings an axe upwards.

Neutral B: Takes out a random item for use in combat. List of items: butterfly nets, fishing rods, axes, slingshots, shovels, furniture, and umbrellas. Moves are altered depending on the items he wields.

Side B: Shovel slide: Takes out a shovel goes on the end of it and slides straight foreward.

Down B: Throws a jar filled with random insects that breaks and lets the bugs attack. The strongest insects are Bees.

Up B: Takes out a mattress and bounces on it straight up.

Taunt: Takes out his net spins it and laughs.

Final Smash: "His FS would be where out of nowhere, a house is dropped onto the stage from the sky. The Crosser won't be harmed because they will have pulled out an inconspicuously looking parasol and will take very little damage. Everyone else however, will fall victim to one of the most powerful FSs in the game. They can only escape from under the house if they or a Crosser breaks it. The more time spent under the house, the more damage." (The credit for the final Smash goes to Tuppyluver1) Thanks Tuppy for all the info ;)
...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...

I love it I would use this character whenever I could just to use that Final Smash. :)

Not much of a competition character eh? Just because it's FS is SO powerful. (I admit I got the idea from someone else on old Nsider who wanted to use it for Nook. >_>)

I've been wanting to ask, is your Screenname a parody of Meatwad?

It would be cool if the players could get out; then the house would become part of the stage until it slowly sinks into the stage. ;D What do you think?

They can get out by mashing buttons. And that would be cool.

Customizable costumes seems like a really good idea, but you could go even further with customizable facial features since not all Animal Crossers look the same.  :O

I like how you included a lot of different items from the Animal Crossing series, but the moveset bothers me.  I think that the A-button should be reserved for close combat attacks instead things like shooting rocks and doing flying uppercuts with shovels.  Those would make better special moves.

I also like the idea of using the fishing rod for grabs, but you've made it so that when the Animal Crosser throws it, he automatically gets an attack in on his opponent.  No other characters have such an advantage, and it would kind of be unfair for the Animal Crosser to have it.

The house FS sounds cool but a little too powerful.  Maybe it could be tuned down a little?
