Hi. Welcome to "Began Within" Where I take a lot from Fire Emblem, Paper Mario, and Final Fantasy: Tactics and make a game out of it. Plot will be in the third post and people who signed up on the second because I don't want to make this post too long due to being the intro post. I'm open to any questions/ideas

stuff I need currently
Ideas - they're appreciated. I want to make this unique from the one going around on another forum.
People - duh; 3 at least to start the first mission.
An assistant or two - ones familiar with fire emblem please; I don't want this to take long.

Now then to get into descriptions of each class and points:

POINTS
These won't judge what happens to you overall; Classes judge later levels. You'll start out with these stats, I'll pick where 6 stats go based on the class you pick, and you get 10 nodes (Think: The Sims) To personalize your character a bit more. Wanna give him 20 HP To be brute? Go for it! Why not some luck? Just remember you only have 10 and won't

Health Points: 10
Attack: 0
Items: 0
Defense: 0
Agility: 0
Blaster: 0
Magic: 0
Social: 0

a summary of what they do:
HP - Keeps you alive duh
Attack - Higher attack higher you hit

Items - Since you don't need to heal on map, this lets you have more items/use more items/get more items each mission

Defense - lets you hit lower
Agility - Lets you dodge enemies more often and learn more when you miss.
Blaster - Essentially, luck.
Magic - Determines how high you hit with magic/heal people/etc.

Social - Let's you become more social to your party, in the end, letting them trust you with weapons and so on. This helps make some missions less hard in the end - you don't need to kill everything y'know.

CLASSES
Swordsmen - They have a huge focus on attacking directly however have to usually attack right next to the enemy and can't move as quickly.
Spellcaster - They have a huge focus on attack spells but are awful at attacking directly and have low HP.
Athlete - Timer's can move insanely fast with there agility and can Normally attack with sports weapons. The main thing about them is they can attack BEFORE They run but they have low defense and a lot of low stats.
Rangers - Have less speed, a tenancy to miss often, and can't attack directly. However they're great when they don't miss and have great room for items. Bows and Arrows or Guns anyone?
Chatter - This is easily the best balanced - They mainly are looked as leaders and have a plain sword usually. Not nearly as strong, but yeah.
Medic - Low HP, but they usually learn some defense magic along with being the only people able to actually heal other party members without needing a lot of social power.
Guardian - Decent attacking but unlike most of the rest of the party, they have an outstanding amount of defense.

Rider - They ride a certain animal and have a lot of HP. Instead of being like agility with moving very fast they can move VERY Far in one turn and can attack from a bit far away with a long halberd. However, there animal can get hungry and end up stopping/slowing down, thus forcing the Rider to heal his pet and potentially himself a lot.  No: Liger is not an option.

Thief - Can steal from the enemy and sometimes get something from the enemy. On very rare occasions they can steal the enemies weapon as well.

Sniper - Low HP, Low Defense, but actually higher attack from further away. He can still attack directly but fails often, ends up possibly shooting someone else, and has a lot of bad luck. He however has a good deal of room for items.

Extra stuff to note
Yourself - You're essentially roleplaying as yourself, but you get to pick your personality and a codename.

Rage Level - During battles, the more you get hit, the more your rage meter builds up. At the end when It's all built up, you'll do a special attack. It's however hard to build up, rare to work, etc.

MP - Only mages (Spellcasters and Medics) have this but don't worry, since It's like paper mario, you won't have to be doing a lot of counting.

Social - Since this game will be much more difficult to control as we get more people, If one person has to log off for a very long period of time, he'll need one other person to control. To avoid "YOU SHOULD CONTROL MY CHARACTER" Do pick every chance you get to decide who you can control incase someone has to leave for a certain ammount of time.

Campfires - To discuss things like giving people low in the item skill some items or so on. These however only happen If you don't lose/run away

Strategizing - Remember, you're only directly controlling one person unless someone else leaves, but you can always give advice!

NPC's - In certain battles, we'll have characters that help the party but are controlled by nobody.

Before any Missions:
It was a long time ago when an uptown city covering many era's was being taken over. The threats became far hostile for the people here to handle thus they called in some help where a few dudes stumbled upon NSFCD. They warped half of the people here but then left without a trace of what was going on.

That's where you all come in.

Interesting stuff:
-One point never mentioned in the first post is that all of you will have a "Rage" Level and when the rage level boosts up, you'll do a powerful attack based on your class. This however will hardly ever happen
-There's no shops or any of that in this game. The only time where you'll need socialism is if the party decides to set up a tent and have a campfire to discuss new plans

Now then, some stuff like Q & A's

What If I want to join in later?
You can. You just will probably have to wait for the next chapter. If the thread takes off too much, do be sure to private message me as well.

What If I die?
If you die, the party will continue on but asks If they want to run away unless you're important to the mission

Uh, so what are we fighting against?
For now, 15-20 armies at different times to restore the land

What happens If we lose/run away?
You may lose some experience points; probably all you gained in the battle. That and the army shall take over the colony. Don't fret, as long as we take over most of it back, you'll be fine

And If we lost most of the time?
I'll think of something

What about maps of how far everyone is from everyone?
I'll be making that

And turns?
You all will have to pick what turn you do, then of course, the enemies move in the same post. I'll be then posting a "What happened" Or my assistant shall.
