Downloading the demo right now. Loved Superstar Saga and Partners in Time, didn't like Bowser's Inside Story as much.

Never played Superstar Saga, but my opinion is reversed on the other two games.

I downloaded the demo earlier, haven't played it yet.

I played the demo and it was pretty fun.

I should probably beat the other Mario & Luigi games first before getting this one, though...

I thought Partners in Time was god awful.

i think you can handle this one wihtout prior experience
especially with how nintendo has been handling stories in games recently

If I'm not mistaken there isn't a connecting plot among the 4 games so each can be enjoyed on its own. I really enjoyed the demo once the tutorials were done.
