Still waiting for the ten GBA games to go on the survey stuff to get 100 free coins and get into Platinum status. Eh. The prizes here are still way worse than other regions. Notebooks? very basic posters? A little basket for Wii remotes? Really?

Sorry Japan gets custom wii remotes while we get small wooden fans and basic folders.

The first round is officially removed.

But we have four new titles!

- TLoZ: Majora's Mask - 150 Coins
- Dr. Mario Online RX - 100 Coins
- Dr. Mario Express - 150 Coins
- Kirby's Dream Land - 100 Coins

Weird that the Dr. Mario DSi game costs more than its Wii counterpart.

I just ordered that series of Legend of Zelda posters. Well, just got them, actually. They're neat.

I'd do it if I didn't have it via the Collector's Edition disc for the GCN. I think that makes it pretty much moot.

I heard the GCN version has save issues, though.

Never heard of problems. And I already have Majora's Mask on the Wii already. Guess I'm sitting this round out too.

The GCN version of MM has lag and crashes occasionally, which sucks considering the limited save system of the game.

I remember frame rate issues in clock town, but nothing game breaking.

Yeah, I've had that. Doesn't affect gameplay really at all, thankfully, because it doesn't happen outside the relative calm of Clock Town.

This; it almost always has lag when I start up clock town, but it's never had any problems besides that.

Also, I got Kirby's Dreamland, because I love me some Kirby and I'm not spending those 100 coins on anything else. It's fun, but it's considerably harder when you have no copy powers.

The game runs at 20FPS. That's a constant frame rate issue.

Which game? And do you mean the original, or the port?

All versions. Well, I don't know for certain, but it definitely seems to run at the same frame rate as OoT (which was 20FPS) and clearly runs at a lower frame rate than OoT 3D (which is 30FPS).

Majora's Mask via CE still lags in Clock Town, regardless. Be it frame rate or not, it has some lag to it.

The first time I played was when I got it for Gamecube, and I tried it on an emulator a year ago, so I kinda always assumed the lag was caused by the porting; never thought the N64 one was like that.

Although, I don't recall Ocarina of Time, on the same Gamecube disc, being as laggy.

It's not laggy; it's just not very smooth. If you look at OoT and compare it to OoT 3D, you'll likely notice a clear difference in frame rate. Third-person action games can sometimes get away with that, though. Case in point: GTA.

Whether you're comparing OoT3D to the original or not, it still was an orgasm on a screen. Can't deny it.

Was the original laggy like that? Because I'm not sure. I always assumed it lagged because of all the stuff that needs to load in Clock Town (people walking from place to place based precisely on the clock, for example) compared to anywhere else in the game. I have a feeling that causes it to slow down a bit.

I'd love that to go with my Goldeneye classic controller pro. Sadly, I do not have the most key component: the golden Wiimote Plus from Skyward Sword. Maybe I'll try to find one on ebay one day.

Wrist strap =/= Hard wire

Now you're gonna be holding two gold controller pieces with a long ugly white wire in the middle

honestly not even worth it, save your coins. wii is on it's way out for wii u, i'm sure you already have controllers

Also not really fond of the white cord. It looks kind of silly.

After starting with stuff like Majora's Mask and Mario Party 2, then moving to months of crap like Urban Champion 3D and NES Football, Club Nintendo is back to having awesome downloadable games. Specifically, Super Smash Bros., which I downloaded yesterday for 200 coins.

Now available: 1080 Snowboarding (for N64) for Wii VC, Mario Party 2 (again? we can't even get a different number?) for Wii VC, and Metroid II: Return of Samus for VC.

Get 'em while they're hot.

I just downloaded Metroid II, because that's an extremely nice surprise. I'll probably download 1080 Snowboarding tomorrow, since I loved 1080 Avalanche on Gamecube.
