Kids. If you're under 7 you're not supposed to view 3D images. Bad for eye development.

I have a nephew and a niece that both own 2DS's and they love them.

You can turn off all of the 3D in the options menu, and just keep the slider all the way down.

You can turn off all of the 3D in the options menu, and just keep the slider all the way down.

You must not spend much time around kids.

That slider would be all over the place and not remain down for long.
