Conspiracy time.

This here is from the Smash Bros Direct web page.

Notice the character banner on the bottom. Everyone is inside their little rectangles, except for one: Pikachu. Seems kinda random, except that when the Direct finally aired, only one "new" character was revealed: Greninja, a character from the same series as Pikachu.

Now, look at this. This is the new banner of the official Super Smash Bros Facebook page.

Notice anything? Not only is Pikachu once again outside his border, but this time Kirby and Sonic are too, and neither of them were outside their borders last time.

Now, this could all just be random; some designer spontaneously decided to make some characters outside their frames for no reason. However, it's also entirely possible that this is being done purposefully as a hint. Could we in fact be seeing a new Pokemon, Kirby, and even Sonic (or general third-party) characters this E3?
This is the most intercourse ing bizarre train of conspiracy logic.

Soooooooooooooo how 'bout that E3?

Mii Fighters, Palutena, and PAC-MAN!!!!!!!!!!

Good stuff. Miis and Pac-Man both look way more awesome than I thought they would, and I was always on the Palutena train.

Also, Game & Watch is basically confirmed from the Pac-Man trailer, not that we didn't know he'd come back anyway.

And did anyone watch that tournament? That was pretty fun.

Zero

tournament was mostly bullpoop though i'm glad most people seemed to have fun with it

I am very pleased that they used Pac-Land/World Pac-Man and not the godawful new version. His moveset looks pretty fun.

If you had told 11 year old me that Sonic, Mario, Mega Man, and Pac-Man would all be in the same game I would have called you a liar. Pretty neat.t

Palutena looks intercourse ing cheap as heck

she has the marth sword counter

It's a customizable moveset. The video showed 13 moves: the first twelve are divided into your 4 specials, and the last one is her Final Smash.

So yeah, they look like pretty crazy moves, but she can only have 4 at a time.

Heck, ALL characters in the game are going to have 12 potential special moves, but only Palutena and the Miis get 12 unique moves, while everyone else gets slight variations (example: Mario has regular bouncing fireball, straightshooting fastball, and giant slow fire orb).

Anyone even slightly interested in Amiibo?

The figures are nice but I don't really see anything that stands out gameplay-wise.

I want to collect all the Smash ones, but they'll be Skylander price, so I'll probably just buy the one or two I like best.

They're $10-$15 each. If they all cost $10, a full set of Smash ones would cost almost $150. And I'm assuming what they showed is all that they're making.
