its more like Wolf should be dropped because there are more relevant characters to choose from in Nintendo's IP library.

Eh. He's boring to play compared to Falco. Despite the "clone" bullpoop they're both have different playstyles and strategies to use than fox so it doesn't really matter who is "more" different.
