BEHOLD! The official box art for Wii U games. Frankly, I like it; the bright blue and yellow seems a bit jarring at first, but it reminds me of the Gamecube, both in shape and in the sense that the Gamecube is famous for being extra colorful.

Also, it just occurred to me that the ACTUAL BOX is blue too, which is sweet; helps it stand out from the grays, blacks, and whites.

bluray
Not officially, it's a proprietary format with the same capacity so Nintendo doesn't have to pay licensing fees.

True, but it's a solid, lighter blue in what is likely a DVD-case size. Besides, if Microsoft keeps their current green cases and Sony makes their special red cases their default, we'll have a pretty cool-looking console war.

I dislike the little orange logo in the top right. It throws off the balance.

Good job! I, Viewtifulboy, declare you the CHAMPION!

I'm the official winner of the Viewtiful Victory roleplay championship!

It looks like Blu-Ray discs. Mind you, the Wii boxes always needed a bit of color to them, so I like the change.

If you confuse this for a Blu-Ray case, then you're just extremely inattentive.

I will agree here, the blue is significantly lighter.
And besides, I doubt I could get it mixed up in DVD's-don't have bluray at my house anyway.

Anyway, I actually kinda like the design.  Didn't seem all that jarring to me...
