Put your all-time favorite or make a list of them. He/She/It/They can be from any game series.
My favorite is Samus Aran, even before I really knew what she looked like out of the suit. =3 Runner-ups are Yoshi, Boo, and Mike (from the WarioWare series). Close behind is the Goomba. That's all I can think of right now. This is not counting all of the Pokémon characters (Trainers and creatures alike). This also doesn't count various enemies in all of the games (for my list that is). I know that Boo and the Goomba fall under this category but they're special.
My final list is:
1. Samus Aran
2. Yoshi, Boo, and Mike
3. Goomba
4. many others
Birdo of course.

Wow. How could I forget about Fox McCloud? He's been one of my favorites for a very long time; ever since I got Star Fox 64. The rest of his team is just too lulzy though.

I like a lot of the Zelda characters. I don't really have a favorite. The Windmill Man [I think his real name starts with a B, I just don't remember it] is up there. As is the Happy Mask Man. Skull Kid, too. Outside of Zelda there's Samus and a few from the Mario series.

A general favorite videogame character thread you say? It's a good idea. I just didn't want the topic to be too broad. I'll consider making a non-Nintendo thread of this type in the near future. :) Or you could. I don't care. Threads are threads; the responses are what count.
