Title: Gosh dang kids ruining our SwapNote fun!
Post by: Neerb on November 01, 2013, 05:32:01 AM
So apparently Nintendo found out that some minors have been exchanging FCs on forums and using SwapNote to send each other lewd pictures without their parents knowing or something. In order to combat this, Big Brother N has straight-up disabled SwapNote SpotPass, meaning you can now only SwapNote by StreetPassing.

Thoughts? I personally haven't used the app since it came out, but the idea behind what's happening here is definitely interesting.

Really, none of us here should find this surprising. Remember what it was like on Oldsider?

Why does Nintendo not like people sharing friend codes? I never understood that.

It is bullpoop.  The worst kind of bullpoop.  Nintendo is absolutely paranoid.  There shouldn't even be this whole friend code thing in the first place!  We should be allowed to freely communicate! >:(
