- Streetpass and Nintendo Zones now work together, so when you Streetpass at McDonalds or Best Buy or Starbucks or something, it remembers you and gives you to anyone else who Streetpasses there. Get ready for way more Streetpasses.
- New Link Between Worlds and Wind Waker HD videos. Link Between Worlds takes place hundred(s) of years after A Link to the Past and features descendants of some of the supporting characters of that game. Also, the plot will have something to do with the upside-down black Triforce in the logo.
- LUIGI CONFIRMED FOR SMASH BROS WII U/3DS
- There's a free Wii U app now available called Animal Crossing Plaza, like an AC version of Waru Waru Plaza. It allows you to look at detailed profiles and comments of all the animal villagers in New Leaf, look at Miiverse posts people have made about each specific character, get alerts of upcoming events in New Leaf, post and receive screenshots and QR codes from New Leaf, and more. There is also now a Miiverse board devoted to Animal Crossing as a series, which is what Plaza will use for its features.
- This Friday at 7 AM PT, there will be a special Direct devoted entirely to The Wonderful 101.
