Title: Guilty Gear Assistance
Post by: Viewtifulboy on September 29, 2013, 07:07:56 AM
As you all know, I've recently started a series of articles on my blog wherein I am looking over all of the most prominent fighting games in gaming.  Having finished Street Fighter and The King of Fighters, I am now moving on to Arc System Works with their claim to fame, Guilty Gear.

I have a strong attention to detail and I like to get facts straight, so if there's anyone here who loves Guilty Gear, knows its story extremely well, and is generally in touch with the game's fan base, please let me know.  I may have questions for the experts to either confirm or clarify the facts.

Is there something about Bridget I should know?  I know his general backstory, but he doesn't seem especially important to the plot.

Bridget is more meant to be one of the innocent characters to further counterbalance all the assassins, thieves, and bounty hunters in the franchise.

Guilty Gear is guilty because homosexuality is a sin.

That doesn't make any sense.  What does homosexuality being a sin have to do with Guilty Gear?

Why are you looking at Guilty Gear and King of Fighters when there are like 5 fighting series that are more prominent than those?

He thinks he is cool or something since they're more obscure.

But seriously Guilty Gear isn't that obscure.

I'm getting to those.  For now I'm getting the major 2D fighters out of the way.

After this it's Blazblue.

Fighting without meaning is just mindless violence.  There are awesome, action-packed tales to be told.

Mindless? Are you intercourse ing kidding me?

I've been a part of the fighting game scene for years and advanced play is never mindless.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with advance play, but without knowing the story, you can't truly put your heart into it.

You can't play Guilty Gear online.  I can, however, play Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and The King of Fighters 13: Steam Edition.
