I use that.

Pimp size  8)
That sucks. Try using something bigger like 1280x1024, that's what I use.
Holy poop everything is so small  :-\
I use it constantly on my 16" CRT. It might seem small at first but after a day or so, it seems just normal.

...Am I the only one who uses 800 × 600? :(
lol, yeah. You've got to be kidding, otherwise... wow.
Well, Wii browser only has 640x480. Even worse yet, the DS browser is 256x192.

Wait, is your computer at 800x600 or did you think that was the Wii browser size?
...or does your TV support up to 800x600 and you have component cables?

My hardware for video processing probably is not able to handle that. My Windows drivers only go up to 1280x1024 but I might be able to try to tweak Ubuntu's video file to manually add 1920x1080.

How old is it? If you use it much, try getting one that supports a more... decent size.

Let's see, when I was seven... that was 1998... yeah that makes sense since it uses Windows '98.

Try this: Under Display Properties, Settings Tab, Advanced, Monitor, Uncheck "Hide modes this monitor can't display".

Go back to the Disp. Prop. Window, and mess with the slider, some might work past 1280x1024, some won't; for instance, I can't use any of them that are above 1080 vertical.

Before I apply, what's the worst that can happen?
Will the computer just revert to the old display mode after 3 seconds or so? Is it possible for hardware to get damaged like the prompt claims?

Unchecking the box adds 1600x1200 and 1920x1200 to the list.

If it doesn't work, don't touch anything, it will change back after 15 seconds.

Try 1600x1200 first though.

Yeah, neither works.
