Tupin

Just built myself a brand new PC, think it can run most things I would throw at it:

Processor: Intel i7 2700k
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V LX
Graphics: Zotac GeForce GTX 560
RAM: 16 GB
Hard drive: 1 TB WD Caviar Green
Solid State Drive: 64 GB (boot drive)
DVD-ROM drive
4 front USB 2.0 ports, 4 back USB 2.0 ports, 2 back USB 3.0 ports

Connection speed:

Not the greatest, but I use Powerline networking, so meh.

Now to get games that can actually put this thing to the test.

The 2700k, IMO, is a waste of money.  The specs are largely the same, you mostly just get a .1 GHz stock bump, which is easily obtained by bumping the multi in your bios with a 2600k

SPEAKING OF WHICH.

Power Supply: Corsair HX 750 (750 watt)
Processor: Intel i7 2600k, OC'ed to 4.7 GHz (heh, I'm insane)
Cooled by: Corsair H100 (water cooling, takes up 2x120mm fan ports, keeps my temps loooooowwww)
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe Generation 3
Graphics: ASUS DirectCU TOP GTX 680 (yes, more overkill)
RAM: 16 GB (I found this is a bit overkill, but that's just me)
Solid State: 120 GB OCZ Vertex (boot only)
Hard Drive: 1 TB Seagate Barracuda
DVD-ROM, only one

I won't even bother with my internet speed test, as it'll look pathetic.
meh

Processor: AMD Phenom II x4 940 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.0 GHz

Hard Drive: 500 GB 7200 RPM Seagate drive (boot only rly, it's old and runs like poop. I found it under the house because...)
3 TB 7200 RPM Seagate drive (...this one was too big for my motherboard to boot from, so I had tons of problems after my old drive failed. I'VE BEEN THROUGH SOME COMPUTER WARFARE SHIT FOR THE PAST MONTHS)
DVD-ROM:I have a blu ray drive intercourse  off
all USB 2.0 and stuff. i think 2 front USB slots and 4 back.

it's comcast, so my results are always varied

Hard drive: Hitachi 750GB 7200RPM

Zero

Processor: Quad Core AMD Phenom II Processor 3.2Ghz
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6850
Motherboard: Biostar TA+ series
RAM: 8GB
HDD: 1 TB Hitachi, forget the write speed

To be honest, I haven't played many graphics intensive games at all. Old PC games like Thief II, Age of Empires III, and Warcraft III mostly. WoW too. I have Sonic Generations and it runs well. 60fps at max settings without hiccups. I often wonder if I should use my PC more, lol.

This is so much better. Don't give a intercourse  about upload speed.

My school finally updated the wireless internet. Looks like I don't need my Ethernet cord anymore.
