I've been trying to import something from a VHS tape and put it on my computer so that I can put it on Youtube but everything I try doesn't work.
I've tried Sonic which I always used to use but now Youtube says it's an invalid format.
I'm currently trying Windows Movie Maker which looks like it'd work but it only records the audio and doesn't display the picture.
I'm not sure what to do.

Any help?

WiiGuy

Yeah, I've done it before and it's worked...I just haven't attempted to put them onto Youtube.

WiiGuy

well it can't help with the YouTube part :-\

Did you edit it in WMM?  If you did, did you save it then "Save Movie file" on XP or "publish it" on Vista?

If YouTube does not accept the file, I'd try
Mediaconverter.org

Change it into something YouTube can accept (I recommend WMV or AVI)

Edit it in what sense?

And incidentally, I just tried MediaConverter.org and when I try and upload it from my computer it says the the file type is not supported. :S
